What Is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on or off (or distance) energy healing practice that helps your body and nervous system relax, rebalance, and soften out of stress.

It works by supporting the natural flow of energy through the body — the same way rest, breath, or nature helps you reset, just with a little extra energetic support layered in.

Reiki isn’t about “fixing” you (because you’re not broken).
It’s about creating space for your body to do what it already knows how to do: restore balance.

People often describe Reiki as deeply calming, grounding, and comforting — like your whole system finally gets permission to slow down.

How Reiki Works

During a Reiki session, gentle energy is offered to support areas of tension, emotional overwhelm, or energetic blockages.

This can help:

  • calm the nervous system

  • release stored stress or emotional heaviness

  • support rest, clarity, and emotional balance

  • bring a sense of ease back into the body

Reiki meets you exactly where you are. Some people feel warmth, tingling, deep relaxation, or emotional release. Others just feel calmer afterwards — and that’s perfect too.

There’s no “right” way to experience it.
